Kayla Russum

GENERAL MANAGER, THE PROJECT AT DOME MOUNTAIN

Kayla Russum is the General Manager of the newest property to join the AMB West portfolio. Located at the base of Dome Mountain, the property consists of 6,278-acres on the southern end of Paradise Valley, MT.  Kayla was promoted to General Manager after serving as Operations Manager at Mountain Sky Guest Ranch. 

 In addition to leading day-to-day operations for the property, Kayla is currently overseeing construction and program development for a project located on the property’s riverfront acreage. The project, to be officially named in the fall of 2024, includes a rustic lodge, twenty guest cabins, a casual restaurant and bar, retail space, and a drive-through coffee shop.

Kayla began her career in hospitality and tourism at the Fairmont Princess Resort and the TPC Scottsdale in Arizona.  In 2018, she joined Lost Creek Ranch near Grand Teton National Park in Guest Services where she was then promoted to Assistant General Manager. 

An outdoor enthusiast, Kayla was a lead guide at BG Wild, guiding multi-day backcountry trips at Havasupai Falls, in the Grand Canyon. She also guided hiking, mountain biking, team building and kayaking trips in the Phoenix area and worked several seasons for the National Park Service in Olympic National Park and Cape Cod National Seashore. Kayla earned a BS in Recreation Management at California State University, Fresno.
